Plot Summary:
A man-made virus wipes out the population of New York City, leaving Robert Neville (Will Smith) the last human survivor in the city and possibly the world. Shia LaBeouf Wants ‘Transformers’ Sequel

Shia LaBeouf is desperately waiting to star in the ‘Transformers’ sequel.
LaBeouf wants to reprise his role as Sam Witwicky in ‘Transformers 2′, which is already being developed by executives at Dreamworks film studios.
The studio’s spokesman Daniel Levy said:

“Obviously if you have a movie that’s made as much money as ‘Transformers’, you’d want to do another one.
“Things are moving along, but until everyone says, ‘Now we have everything - we have the script and everybody tied in’, we can’t say it has the green light yet.”

Michael Bay is expected to remain director and Steven Spielberg will be the executive producer.
‘Transformers’ took almost $700 million at box offices worldwide.
Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel and Jon Voight have not yet confirmed if they plan to sign up for the sequel.
‘Transformers 2′ is set to be released in 2009.

Plot Summary:What will it sound like when you die? In “One Missed Call,” a chain of people receive terrifying cell phone messages of their own final fatal moments. Though the messages can be deleted, their number is up. Beth Raymond (Shannyn Sossamon) is traumatized when she witnesses the gruesome deaths of two friends just days apart. Even more disturbing, she knows that both of them had received chilling cell phone messages—actual recordings of their own horrifying last moments. Impossibly, the calls were received days before they died, but each death occurred precisely when and how the messages foretold. The police think Beth is delusional—except for Detective Jack Andrews (Edward Burns) whose own sister was killed in a freak accident that bears a strange similarity to the deaths of Beth’s friends. Together, Jack and Beth work feverishly to unravel the mystery behind the ominous calls. But even as they get closer to the truth, Beth’s cell phone begins to ring with an eerie tune, and the readout says One Missed Call.

Janet Jackson Like You’ve Never Seen Her Before

Tyler Perry talked to the LA Daily News about his upcoming dramedy, Why Did I Get Married?
. Perry said Janet Jackson will be quite different from how you’ve ever seen her:

“She’s playing a college professor — actually, an author and professor of psychology,” Perry reports. He is quick to add that Jackson “absolutely” has the chops to pull off the part convincingly. “I can’t wait for people to see her like this.”

Perry is also high on fledgling thespian Scott, who is “like she’s born to do this. Her acting is so natural, I was shocked. When this woman smiles, she lights up a room.”.

Ironically, there’s no singing in the movie despite its powerhouse trio of singers. However, Perry’s happy to note that they’ll be involved in the soundtrack. He expects an October or November debut for the feature.

The movie is based on Perry’s play about the joys and trials of matrimony.

Brad Pitt joins George Clooney in “Burn After Reading”

Brad Pitt will join George Clooney in the Coen brothers’ “Burn After Reading” for Working Title Films.
The black comedy which also stars Frances McDormand, centers on a CIA agent who loses the disc of the book he is writing.
Pitt will begin shooting the film in late August.
Joel and Ethan Coen penned the screenplay, and Joel Coen will direct. Focus Features will distribute worldwide.
